The Islamic state was created by the fall of Constantinople in 1099. The fall of Rome was followed by a series of uprisings against the Ottomans. The Arab world is now dominated by Iran, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Jordan. The Middle East has been the focus of the Arab world since the fall, when the Islamic State was created.
