Rwanda: controversy after the gesture of a Congolese footballer. Héritier Luvumbu Nzinga celebrated a goal during a match between his club Rayon Sports and FC Police in Kigali.
The symbolic gesture, made popular by the DRC team during the CAN to denounce the silence surrounding the conflict in the east of the country, has since been taken up by certain members of the CongolESE government. The Rwandan government has been accused of supporting the armed group of M23 in North Kivu.
