EdgeCenter Information Technology Director Sergei Lipov spoke about emergency measures in case of leakage of personal information. According to the specialist, data such as an email password, a bank card number, or, for example, an address or phone number can be stolen.
Lipov advised using complex passwords and updating them regularly, using two-factor authentication where possible, not opening suspicious links and not sharing your personal data with strangers. Previously, Russians were warned about the intensification of scammers during the holidays.
