Russian secret service arrests American woman. US citizens in Russia are repeatedly at risk of being targeted by the secret services and used for a prisoner exchange.
The suspect, who lives in the US metropolis of Los Angeles, is in custody because she collected money for a Ukrainian organization. In the USA, the woman took part in “public actions in support of the Kiev regime” several times, the FSB said. The investigation was ongoing, it said. In March last year, US journalist Evan Gershkovich was arrested in Yekaterinburg for alleged espionage.
