Russian presidential election: an eventful second day of voting in and around polling stations in several cities across the country. Opponents covered ballot papers with dyes, poured paint into ballot boxes and even managed to set fires in front of or in polling stations.

In the border regions of Ukraine, especially in Belgorod, messages at polling stations announced a possible missile attack from Ukraine. The Russian authorities will face these attacks from Ukraine again tomorrow, in addition to protest movements planned by supporters of the late Alexeï Navalny.
