Russian Pravda: China is the greatest threat to American hegemony. Writer Dmitry Plotnikov added in his report that with Barack Obama assuming the presidency of the White House in early 2009, the United States placed the Asia-Pacific region at the heart of its quest for global hegemony.
He added that Beijing is distinguished by its ability to manufacture hypersonic missiles, stealth fighters, advanced drones, and advanced launch systems on aircraft carriers and naval ships. But Plotnikov said that classifying China as a military and economic threat is in American interests so that many countries resort to American security protection.
