Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zakharova said that Russia will celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year. President Putin has signed a presidential decree declaring 2024 to 2025 as the China-Russia Cultural Year.

The center of Moscow will be decorated with traditional Chinese-style decorations, including colorful arches and red lanterns symbolizing peace, prosperity and success. Banners will be used in Kamergorsky Alley, Tver Square, Tverskaya Street and New Arbat Street to extend New Year greetings to guests from China and Moscow citizens.
