[HIGHLIGHTS] Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Ryabkov accused the United States of manipulating START data

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov says the U.S. provides false data on its strategic offensive weapons.

He added that the data on the arsenals of Great Britain and France cannot be verified and they are declarative in nature. He noted that a situation in which the US military is at Russian nuclear facilities, while the United States is fomenting a further escalation of the Ukrainian conflict, is simply impossible. On February 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Moscow was suspending its participation in the New START Treaty.
