Russian Central Election Commission: almost 760 thousand people voted early in the presidential election. Earlier, the director of the Institute for the Study of Contemporary Politics, Anton Orlov, proposed that drunk voters should not be allowed to vote.

On March 4, at the central election headquarters of Russian presidential candidate Vladimir Putin, a meeting was held between the co-chair of the headquarters, Maryana Lysenko, and the head of the CIS observer mission, Ilham Lysenko.
