For a little over two months, women, mothers and daughters of mobilized Russians have been demanding their return from the front every Saturday with this symbolic gesture. Far from criticizing the authorities, the special operation, or demanding an end to the fighting, these women have much simpler demands: that the men who have been fighting for two year can return to their loved ones.
