Ruqaya was killed by a bullet at a checkpoint in the West Bank. She was on her way to celebrate her fifth birthday with her family.
Her body was not returned to her family until 10 days after her death. The family is still waiting for her body to be returned to them. They are still trying to find out what happened to her body and why she was killed in the first place.
