Rosstat: prices for chicken eggs in Russia decreased by 1% over the week. Prices for chicken meat, pork, sunflower oil, tomatoes, buckwheat, as well as canned fruit and berries for baby food also decreased.
Earlier, Rosselkhoznadzor announced that the number of chicken eggs imported into Russia from Azerbaijan as of January 19, 2024 reached 3 million. The total number of eggs imported in Russia from January 16 to January 22, 2024 was 1.4 million.
