[HIGHLIGHTS] Roskomnadzor approved the criteria for evaluating materials containing LGBT propaganda

Roskomnadzor has approved criteria for evaluating materials that contain LGBT propaganda and gender reassignment. LGBT propaganda will include information aimed at forming a distorted view of the social equivalence of traditional and non-traditional sexual relations.

For this offense, legal entities face a fine of 1 million to 4 million rubles or suspension of activities for 90 days. In December, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law banning LGBT propaganda,Gender reassignment and pedophilia. The Order comes into force on September 1, 2023.
