Italy's Jannik Sinner beaten by Germany's Daniel Altmaier in second round of Roland-Garros. Sinner, ranked 9th in the world, had two match balls in the fourth set, but failed to convert.

The 21-year-old will now face Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov for a place in the last 16 of the French Open. The match was played on Court Suzanne-Lenglen in Paris, with the second set lasting more than an hour.
