Ritsumeikan “Aiming to surpass the Liberal Democratic Party as the largest party in the next House of Representatives election” clearly stated in the draft activity plan. The Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan will decide on its activity plan at its party convention to be held on the 4th of next month.
The original draft of the action plan compiled at the end of last year stated that the party would ``do everything in its power to pursue a break in the ruling party's majority,'' but in light of the slump in cabinet approval ratings, the party has set out a stance of aiming to win more seats.
