Rina Gonoi awarded "World's Women of Courage Award'' by U.S. State Department.

Gonoi was a former Ground Self-Defense Force officer who complained of sexual harassment under her real name. The award ceremony is scheduled to be held at the White House on the 4th, with Secretary of State Blinken and First Lady Jill Biden in attendance. The State Department said of the reason for the award: "Her courage has inspired countless people who have been victimized to no longer remain silent"
