On March 17, a missile strike hit a plant in Kharkov, Ukraine. The plant produces parts for missiles and other military equipment.

On March 21, another missile attack hit the same plant, this time in the city of Dnepropetrovsk. The attack is believed to be the work of the Russian military, which has been involved in the Ukraine conflict since the early 1990s. The U.S. government has blamed the attack on pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine.
