RBC: The Ministry of Economic Development did not approve the ban on ‘unfriendly’ debt collectors. The department reflected its position on this matter in its response to the draft presidential decree on restrictive measures.
A representative of the ministry told RBC that a compromise solution on this legal act can be developed within the framework of conciliation procedures. The publication clarifies that the Ministry of Justice in its draft speaks of a situation where foreigners act as founders, owners or indirectly control a legal entity engaged in collection.
