The Western Rescue Road (Khartoum - El Fasher) is the only main corridor linking eastern Sudan to the Darfur region. The road has turned into a scene of incidents of theft and looting, and repeated violations at the hands of armed men belonging to the support forces.
The problem began after the fall of 80% of the region, such as Zalingei, Nyala, Geneina, and El-Daein, where Rapid Support and others loyal to her had control.
