Iceland was said to have the best working environment for women, with approximately 40% of management positions being held by women. Other Scandinavian countries are also at the top, with Sweden in second place and Norway in third place. The Economist states that women in three countries, including Japan, continue to face the greatest obstacles in the workplace.
