Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron held a phone call in which they discussed a number of regional and international issues. Iranian president said that it is necessary to stay away from non-constructive political measures in the course of negotiations aimed at lifting sanctions on Iran.
French president expressed concern about the current course of the Iranian nuclear program, noting the desire of France and its European partners to find a diplomatic solution to this issue. Macron also warned of the seriousness of the security and humanitarian consequences of Iran's delivery of drones to Russia, and demanded that Tehran stop its support for the war on Ukraine.
