[HIGHLIGHTS] Queen Elizabeth's mourning and funeral cost nearly £162 million

The state funeral of Queen Elizabeth cost £161.7 million. The Ministry of the Interior had the biggest bill with 73.68 million pounds.

The Department of Culture and Media had the second biggest bill at 66.2 million pounds (21.6 million euros) The cost of the coronation of Prince Charles is not yet known but is expected to cost at least £100 million (115 million euro) The Queen died on September 8 at the age of 96 and was laid to rest on September 19.
