Queen Doña Sofía performs the 'raising' of the Cristo de los Alabarderos in a surprise visit. The wife of Juan Carlos I appeared at seven in the afternoon at the Royal Palace of Madrid to witness the departure of the sculpture by Felipe Torres Villarejo.
