New restrictions are implemented from Wednesday in the Pyrénées-Orientales. Almost the entire department has been placed in a situation of "crisis", the highest level of alert, due to the historic drought.
The restrictions, ordered for the moment until June 13, concern the watersheds of Agly and Têt, the two main rivers of Roussillon. Watering vegetable gardens, green spaces, filling private swimming pools, using water from the network, are prohibited.
