Earlier, Putin said that more than 3.2 million residents of new regions of Russia received Russian passports. The Russian President said that the new passports would be issued to citizens of the new regions, as well as the citizens of Russia as a whole. The new passports will be issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he said. The passports will also be available for citizens of other regions of the country.
