Putin announced the existence of a program for the development of the pharmaceutical industry in Russia. He also added that when it comes to life-saving medicines, Russia is 75% self-sufficient.
Earlier, Putin spoke about the situation with some foreign medicines that had left the country. He said personnel are of “prime importance” in the field of healthcare, adding that “a lot has been done here, but, of course, even more remains to be done,” Putin noted.
