Puente contrasts Borrell's "example" in the 'Huguet-Aguiar case' with Ábalos' challenge: "He left and was not seen as corrupt". Puente praised the figure of Josep Borrell in the corruption case that affected two of his collaborators and that forced him to resign in 1999 from his candidacy for the presidency of the Government.
"That is the example that a socialist should look at," considered Puente just an hour after the tough appearance of the Valencian deputy in Congress.
