Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Sergio Rico is hospitalized in "serious condition" after a horse accident in Andalusia. Rico was flown by helicopter to Seville's Virgen del Rocio hospital, where he was placed on life support.

According to the daily Marca, the Spanish international is in a stable condition. The 29-year-old played 24 matches for the Parisian club. He was loaned to Mallorca for the second half of last season. The player's entourage says that he did not fall from a horse but that he was hit in the neck.
