Prime Minister Kishida "risks his life to revitalize the party" at the Liberal Democratic Party's National Secretary-General Meeting. In response, local councilors have expressed the opinion that they would like to see immediate action taken, including disciplinary action against the councilors involved.

"I sincerely apologize for causing a great deal of political distrust among the people," Prime Minister KISHida said. "Policy cannot move forward without political trust,'' he apologized. "If the party headquarters does not respond properly, local elections will be in trouble," local assembly members said.
