In the Diet, the Budget Committee of the House of Representatives was deliberating the budget for the new fiscal year. Prime Minister Kishida responded to the Constitutional Democratic Party's request to ban donations from corporations and organizations.

The Minister expressed his desire to discuss with each party the nature of donations. In addition, regarding the punishment of the members involved, Prime MinisterKishida said, “We will take a closer look at it and then consider disciplinary action.’“It is important to discuss the issue, including its harmful effects, and the Liberal Democratic Party would like to sincerely contribute."
