The head of the transition must still be “available” from the army to meet the eligibility conditions. In addition to being Chadian with Chadian parents, being 35 years old, no criminal record and a medical certificate, candidates must raise a deposit of 10 million FCFA, refundable if they obtain 10% of the votes.
