Prabowo, the No. 2 presidential candidate, and his running mate, Jokowi’s eldest son and current Solo mayor, Gibran, received more than 96.2 million votes, accounting for approximately 164 million of the total votes.

According to statistics from the Indonesian Election Commission, the pair won in 36 provinces and led overseas voting, meeting the conditions for victory in one round. Prabowi will officially take over from Joko Widodo, who has been in power for ten years, on October 20.
