Patrick Poivre d'Arvor had filed a complaint for defamation against Le Parisien after the revelations of the complaint for rape of Florence Porcel against him. The 39-year-old accuses the former star presenter of the TF1 television news of having forced her to a sexual intercourse in 2004 and a in 2009.
A first preliminary investigation against "PDDA" was opened in February 2021, before the investigations were closed. A judicial investigation is still ongoing against "PPDA" for rape and sexual assault.
