Potatoes have been growing in a cemetery in Bräkne-Hoby for a week. The site is divided into three parts: one with the theme of agriculture, another with forestry and the last with fishing.
An apple tree, rhubarb, spices and potatoes have been planted to follow the theme – just a few meters from the graves. Last summer, a similar initiative in Traryd, Småland, provoked strong reactions when the graves there were joined by a vegetable garden.
