The delegate of the Government in Melilla, Sabrina Moh, has announced on Tuesday a special device to protect the postmen of Correos. On Monday several of them were assaulted by unknown persons to steal the electoral documentation for the vote by mail of the municipal and regional elections of next May 28.
Moh has announced that a coordination meeting will be held with Security Forces and Bodies to establish an extraordinary device to provide security and protection to these postal professionals. "I ask citizens to rise to the occasion, we are in a democratic country in which everyone can exercise their right to vote freely," he stressed.
