First Deputy Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Dmitry Polyansky said that Western countries are preparing a “pro-Ukrainian Sabbath” at the UN on Friday, February 23. Polyansky added that representatives of Western countries will practice anti-Russian rhetoric and glorify the Kiev regime.

As the diplomat noted, Western officials, who cannot be expected at meetings on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, flock to New York “like flies.” Previously, Hungary's presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2024 will most likely not lead to the abandonment of the anti- Russian policy of the union.
