Poland is negotiating with Ukraine on temporarily closing the border for goods. On February 20, protesting Polish farmers dumped grain on the border with Ukraine.

The Ukrainian side expects compensation from Polish farmers for about 180 tons of grain scattered during the blockade. On February 23, unknown persons again opened Ukrainian grain trucks in Poland. The situation is expected to be resolved by the end of the month, according to the Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and the Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseny Yatseniuk.
