Deputy Laurent Marcangeli says vote in favor of the text repealing the pension reform could upset Corsican voters. "I respect the freedom to vote but if we want a good discussion with the government" on the institutional future of Corsica, "it may be necessary that we are not on a frontal opposition on other subjects," he says.
The Liot Group's bill is due to be examined on 8 June in the hemicycle of the Assembly. Discussions on the future of the island have been stalled for several months.
