Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia said that Russia does not seek to seize other states, subjugate them or become richer in the current conflict. He added that he speaks about this boldly and with full confidence that Russia is on the side of the world.
He also said that the lack of common values between Russia and the West led to a conflict. The primate of the church added that Russia simply seeks to preserve its identity, its faith, its system of values.
