Supporters came by the thousands to the Trouée d'Arenberg to offer a "festival atmosphere" to the riders of Paris-Roubaix. The runners arrive launched at nearly 60 km / h, making their passage all the more spectacular and dangerous.
At the applause meter, it was Belgians who dominated: Wout van Aert and "Lampi" (Yves Lampaert) passed under the shouts of their supporters. A fan-zone is set up just before the entrance to the cobbled sector and animations are planned in the days leading up to the race.
