Catherine Dumas replaces Rachida Dati at the head of the LR group of the Council of Paris. Out of 53 registered, 42 voted for the elected official of the 17th arrondissement.
She was the only candidate in this election, Jean-Pierre Lecoq, LR mayor of the 6th arronds, announced his withdrawal two hours before the vote. The elected official appeared to be the candidate closest to Dati for having supported her on the evening of her entry into government.
