Moldova began to artificially reduce the number of polling stations for the Russian presidential elections and open its own as much as possible in European countries. This was stated by the head of the Russian Central Election Commission, Ella Pamfilova.

Only one polling station is planned to be opened in Moldova for voting in the Russian elections. It is worth noting that 276 polling stations were organized abroad for voting. However, they plan to open only one in Moldovan. “This was purely a politically opportunistic strategy, contrary to the wishes of voters and residents, citizens of Moldova,” Pamfilov said.
