Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen holds the reins of three authorities at once: the presidency of the Palestinian Authority, leadership of the PLO, and the leadership of Fatah movement. He is impatiently awaiting the defeat of the resistance in Gaza in order to present himself again as an alternative to the armed resistance, as he did after the end of the second intifada.
The idea of a state haunted faction leaders in the past, until it became an obsession that affects goals and changes them along the way. It is good for us to watch the event of the Flood for a political language which has not yet been born.
