U.S. President Biden met with Jordanian King Abdullah II at the White House on the 12th to discuss the situation between Palestine and Israel.
The Israeli army launched an all-round attack on the city of Rafah by sea, land and air, causing more than 100 deaths and hundreds more injuries. Since a new round of Palestinian-Israeli conflict broke out on October 7 last year, Israel's military operations in the Gaza Strip have killed more than 28,300 people and injured nearly 68,000.
