Viktor Orban: European people need to “restore their self-respect” and confront the injustices of Brussels. Speaking at the Hungarian National Museum to mark the anniversary of the national liberation revolution of 1848–1849, Orbán noted that Brussels is not the first ‘empire’ to seek to subjugate Hungary.

Previously, Orban said that European countries need to develop the army, since the United States will not pay the security bill. He said: “We will not tolerate them (EU leaders) ruining farmers, destroying the middle class, ruining European companies.”
