Hungary's government continues to block the next 500 million euros in EU military aid to Ukraine – and also the eleventh package of sanctions against Russia. Hungary was the only EU country on Monday to raise its objection to the next tranche from the so-called European Peace Facility.

Hungary justifies this mainly with the fact that Ukraine has put the Hungarian OTP Bank on a list of war supporters – wrongly, according to Hungary's government. Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky is said to have thought about blowing up the "Druzhba" pipeline.
