Francois Bayrou re-elected for three years as president of MoDem. The mayor of Pau was the only candidate in the running and received 88.1% of the votes.
“I am very happy with this result, because it is a testimony of confidence,” he declared during a short speech. The centrist party has four representatives in the government: Minister Marc Fesneau (Agriculture), Deputy Ministers Sarah El Haïry (Children, Youth and Families) and Jean-Noël Barrot (European Affairs)
