On the first day of Hong Kong’s Easter holiday, inbound passenger flow at Shenzhen Futian Port reached a new high. The majority of immigrants are Hong Kong and Macao residents traveling as a family or traveling in groups, accounting for more than 90% of the total.
The maximum inspection volume of passenger vehicles per hour exceeds 360. In order to cope with the peak passenger flow, Huanggang Border Inspection Station opened sufficient inspection channels in advance and added temporary manual inspection desks.
