The Guangzhou Municipal Government has officially approved the expansion of the Guangzhou Panyu Economic and Technological Development Zone. The expansion will lay the foundation for applying for a national-level economic and technological development zone.
After the expansion, the total planned area reaches 213 square kilometers, of which the core area covers 14.99 square kilometers. High standards and high quality will create a new growth pole for Guangzhou’s economic development and a new highland for the industrial opening and development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
