The Afghan prosecutor who imprisoned jihadist terrorists is denied asylum by the embassy and the State Attorney's Office. She fled to Pakistan after the entry of the Taliban government with her six-year-old son.

Those she imprisoned are free and some hold important positions. "If I have to return to Afghanistan, I count the minutes for my death, for my destruction and that of my son," says Setareh, who is living in a shack on the outskirts of Islamabad, the Pakistani capital.
